The journalist are demanding the arrest of parshuram Basnet, chief of Youth Force, a sister wing of the ruling CPN-UML, who has been alleged to have masterminded the attack on biratnagar-based journalist khilanath dhakal.
In Biratnager, the agitating journalists held a protest rally and traversed the city before holding a meeting at the office of Biratnagerchapter of Federation of Nepali Journalists for discussion.
Mediapersons during the discussion accused the police administration of failing to arrest parshuram. The protest rally was held today at 12 noon after the local administration with drew the prohibitory orders it had imposed in the area three days ago to prevnt any untoward incident in the wake of pro posed counter rally by Youth Forurce
